Our band programs are an essential part of our school and community, offering students a place to grow as musicians, leaders, and community members. From the energy of Friday night football games to the focus of concert stage performances, our students represent Powell with excellence, dedication, and heart. We strive every day to hold true to the Powell High School motto of "Knoxville's Best" in every aspect of our program.
The Powell Band includes a variety of ensembles and opportunities for student involvement, including marching band, concert bands, winter guard, percussion ensembles, chamber music, and more. Whether competing in contests, performing for local events, or traveling to festivals, Powell Band students develop valuable life skills like discipline, responsibility, and collaboration through their musical experiences.
