If your child is struggling at school, whether it be academically, socially or emotionally, I would love to help! I promise to listen to all concerns at try to do what I can to improve the situation. I believe that working on these issues when they seem small can often prevent a big problem later on. I also believe in the “it takes a village” approach and will often times involve any other staff that may benefit the situation. That is always with the permission of the student or parent.

Students can also refer themselves if they are struggling with certain situations or issues. I am always open to meeting with a student even if it is a quick check-in or to share something amazing happening in their lives. Students will have access to my Canvas page which has several links to a Student Referral Form. I will show them how to complete the form during the first few weeks of school. Of course they can always let their teacher know that they would like to speak with me or find me in the hall or my classroom.
