Principal's Message

Mrs. Jones is excited to begin her first year at Carter Elementary as Assistant Principal. Mrs. Jones began her career in administration during the ‘22-’23 school year as the split AP for Sunnyview Primary and Chilhowee Intermediate. Prior to that, she taught at A.L. Lotts Elementary for 13 years, where she was a lead teacher and the ELA Department Chair.  

Mrs. Jones believes in supporting all students and helping them achieve their full potential. She believes a strong partnership between families and schools is the key to a successful school year. She is grateful to be a part of the Carter community and looks forward to getting to know each family.

In her spare time, Mrs. Jones likes to cook, spend time with her husband and three sons, have coffee with friends, and read.
