    MS Math Progression

Please note the Math progression chart for Middle School. IF you wish your child to be in Honors Alg. I in the 8th grade,  but they were not in 7th grade honors Math, they cannot move into Honors Algebra I as they will be missing all of the Pre-Algbra content that is covered in 7th grade Honors Math. However, students not in honors classes in middle school can still take Honors, AP, and Duel Enrollment courses during their high school career. Students may even double up on math during an academic year to place them in the most advanced math courses their senior year if desired.

    Change of Course Request Form

Academic Level Change Requests for rising 7th & 8th grade students will be available to turn in to the Counseling Dept. April 8, 2024 - April 26, 2024. Please complete this form ONLY if you wish to move academic levels (from Honors to standard or standard to Honors). Completing this form does not guarantee that your child's placement into honors will be changed. However, their academic data will be reviewed at the end of the year to see if they qualify and parents will be notified of the change via email.

Academic Level Change Requests for rising 6th grade students will be available May 6th - May 17th. Please complete the form and turn it in to Ms. Davis in the Counseling Office.

    Academic Change Request Form

If you wish to submit a specific Course Change Request, you may do so within the first two weeks of school. The form will be posted on our website once schedules go live sometime mid to late July 2024.

We will only look into changing your child's schedule for the following reasons:

         1. Gap in schedule/missing class

         2. Academic level change

         3. Duplicate class
