    PERSONAL

As I begin my third year with Amherst Elementary School and Knox County Schools, I am overjoyed to return as the school counselor for the 2024-2025 school year! My commitment to counseling comes from a heartfelt desire to support and guide our students, helping them grow into strong, confident individuals. I am dedicated to providing love, care, and support to every student and family in our school community.

Working with our AES students, staff, families, and the broader community is a true joy for me. When I’m not at school, I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and embarking on new adventures with my husband.

I am excited about the opportunities this school year will bring and look forward to a wonderful year together!

    PERSONAL

I am excited about joining the Amherst family as the two-day a-week counselor this year! This is my 7th year working as a school counselor but my first year working at a physical school. For the last 6 years, I have been working in virtual schools with students from K to 12. Out of all the levels I have worked at, elementary school is truly my passion, and I am so excited to get to know each and every student that walks through these doors! My mission is to provide every single student with a space to feel like they are loved, they belong, and they are capable of learning and growing!

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and my 2 cats. My husband’s name is Brandon and my 3-year-old son is Henry. Soon to join the family is baby Isla, who is due in late August. If I get a spare moment, I love to read and do crafts.
