I want to welcome you to Gibbs High School!  Gibbs is such a special place, described by most as a place with a true sense of family and community.  A family feeling is what we want every student, parent, and community member to experience when they step onto our campus.  For me, Gibbs is not just a place to work, it is home.  Gibbs blue runs deep inside me and many who come to campus every day.  Since 2014, I realize every day how honored I am to be the principal at Gibbs High School.  I am blessed to be in such a special place. 

 

At Gibbs High School, our mission is to prepare all students to be college and career ready through a strong foundation in academics, fine arts, industry-aligned CTE programs, and real-world experiences.  We are committed to fostering meaningful relationships, engaging families and community partners, and equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and character to thrive in an ever-changing world.  Our staff is committed to working with students to meet our rigorous academic standards and expectations.  We seek your support in your child’s education.  Prompt daily attendance, communication with teachers, and holding students accountable for their academic performance are essential to ensuring student success.

 

The motto, Gibbs kids can do anything is not just an empty belief.  It is a fact, but only if we demand more of ourselves and our future every day.  Please take a moment to partner with us by joining our Gibbs High School Foundation.  This is a great organization to help parents, students, alumni, and community to be involved in our school.
