Thinking about joining the workforce or attending a vocational training after graduation? West High can help connect you to apprenticeships and programs that support young adults entering the world of work:
- Expand your Skilled Trades Awareness by exploring salary, job outlook, career pathways, and training opportunities at HireUp Knox, a website hosted by the Knoxville Chamber. You can also find up-to-date job listings and much more on the HireUp Knox website.
- Browse our Database of Local Apprenticeships
- See if you qualify to participate in the Go Places program, which places graduates ages 18-24 in paid work experiences while providing training in financial literacy and work readiness, counseling, and more to help participants get set up for long-term success. Go Places is currently seeking new participants, with a particular need for those interested in plumbing.
