Citation Websites

  • Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL)

    This is a great resource for not only citations but also for how to format your paper in MLA style.  It includes samples of papers so you can check to see if yours is formatted correctly!

  • Knight Cite

    Knight Cite is a great citation website if url generators do not work or if you have a print material.  This website breaks down each resource and gives you the layout for each citation.  All you have to do is import your information in and it will generate your citation for you.

  • Easy Bib

    Easy Bib will format your citation for you either by entering your information or copying the URL of a website into the search box.  It will come up with a citation or ask you for a little more information before it formulates your citation.

  • Son of Citation Machine

    Son of Citation Machine has a variety of citation types as well as different types of sources that you could be using.  Each one will generate your citation by either copying the URL into the search box or by typing in a author or title into the search box.

    Formulates your citation by either copying the url of the page you want to cite into the generator or you can look up the author or title and it will search for results.  After you fill out the form it will formulate your citation for you.!
