Assistant Principal - 10th grade

Education:

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Master of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Educational Specialist in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University 

Experience:

I started my career in education as a Social Studies teacher and had the opportunity to teach at Carter High (2yrs), Karns High (4yrs) and Central High School (1yr).  I taught Geography, Government, Economics and also Leadership classes.  I started my administrative career at Central High School and have been in that role for the past 15 years.  I have served as an administrator at Central High (4yrs), Gresham Middle School (3yrs), Cedar Bluff Middle (1yr), Northwest Middle School (4yrs) and at Halls High for the past two years.   

I am married to a wonderful man named Andy and am Mom to my daughter, Madelyn (17) and our step-son, Drew (13).  I have an amazing family and wonderful friends and enjoy spending time with them. I genuinely love being a school administrator, and I am looking forward to my third year at Halls High School!!
