Welcome to the West Valley Library!
The West Valley Media Center is the heart of our school. From the time the doors open, students discover new books and authors, periodicals, and technology to meet their academic, research, and recreational reading needs.
Our collection includes over 11,000 books and online resources, including over 900 eBooks and multiple databases. The library provides reading and meeting areas where students and faculty relax and enjoy one another. Cell phones and computers are used for online reading or research purposes ONLY. Video games are limited to educational sites that teachers have provided.Library Hours:
Opens: 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday students who return a permission form can join Mrs. Getz for a time of Nature Journaling outside. 7:30-8:00. Check with Mrs. Getz for more details.
Closes at 3:35 p.m. unless there is a club meeting in this space.

CLUBS MEETING IN THE LIBRARY
Monday Makers' Space - Come and create, learn something new - Everyone is welcome 3:35-4:45. If you have a hobby or something you would like to teach other students, let us know. Ms. Brittain and Ms, Getz
Wednesday - Before school from 7:30-8:00 Nature Journaling. We will spend time outside observing/experiencing our world. We will also work in our journals in the library if the weather indicates we need to stay inside. Students must have a permission form to participate. *Meet at the library
Thursday - Dungeons and Dragons Game Club- Ms. Stansberrry and Dr. Shanton. 3:35-5:00
Friday - Creative Writers' Club Ms. Smith and Ms. Getz 3:35-4:45
